Today was what you might call a sweet and sour day. Lynn and I moved our son Hunter into college. It's hard to believe that he's already grown up. I am so proud of him though, just like I'm also proud of his sister Jessica. God has truly blessed us with great kids. (Thanks Lord) I thought it would be quite easy to drop "H-boy" off... just pull up to the curb and throw his suitcase out the window, right? Well not exactly. It was, as I said, sweet and sour. One side of my heart is happy and rejoicing that Hunter is ready to launch into a whole new world on his own. The other side of my heart is a little heavy at seeing him leave... And as you can imagine, he was ready to cut the strings and get on with it. I, on the other hand, put up a good front but inside I was all messed up... I'm sure he will shine and his life will be filled with great fun, learning and achievement. My prayers are that he will hold fast to his faith and always be the leader God created him to be. I love you son. Go make a difference.

Sweet and Sour
PS - On the way home, I called mom and dad just to tell them thanks. I know now how they felt the day I moved into the dorm at WCU.
