Have you ever had one of those seasons in your life when it seems like everything is going wrong? I’ve been going thru a time like that lately. Not only did we have a tree fall on our camper, but this week my car went on the blink and now I’m without wheels. I realize that those things may seem a bit trivial, but they are rather aggravating. Some of you may be experiencing trials of a much more severe nature. Maybe you feel as though your world is falling apart and no one seems to care. I don’t know what you may be facing, but Jesus knows and He cares. It’s always comforting to hear a friend that has experienced what you’re facing to tell you that they know what you’re going thru and they’ll be there with you no matter what. Jesus is that kind of friend. The Bible tells us, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 About 2000 years ago, instead of simply saying, “I’m sorry that you’re going thru a tough time”, God sent His Son, Jesus to live among us. And Jesus has faced everything you and I will ever go thru in life. So we can find hope in Him. He knows. He knows how you’re feeling. He knows your sorrow. He knows your pain. He knows your joy. He knows your fears. He knows when you’re happy. And He knows when you’re sad. He knows when a tree falls on your camper and when your car breaks down. Jesus knows. So whatever you may be facing at this moment, you are not alone. Jesus is there and He knows and He understands.
