As Christmas approaches and the dawn of a new year is on the horizon, I thought I would take time to tell you that I am so truly blessed and honored to serve as your pastor. The love that you have shown my family over these past nine – yes nine – years has been incredible. We have seen the Lord do some amazing things at MVC. From the jungles of Nicaragua to the coalmines of West Virginia, He has blessed thousands of people thru this family of faith. And the good news is: He’s just getting started. I believe with all of my heart that this next year will be better than ever, stronger than ever, bigger than ever, more fun than ever, and more blessed than any of the previous nine years. My continuing prayer for our faith family is that we will continue to grow – both numerically as well as spiritually. I truly believe God wants to blow our minds with what He plans to do thru us in Western North Carolina. The dream is still alive and getting stronger everyday. Let’s join together and tell Jesus that we’re standing under the windows of heaven, ready to receive the blessings He wants to pour out upon us. I want to thank the staff, the deacons, and the spiritual leadership team for their hard work and dedication. Folks, God has blessed us all with wisdom, spiritual leadership, divine guidance and direction thru these people. If I could have any team in the world with which to work, I would choose each one of them all over again. Hope you all have a joyous, Christ-filled Christmas.
