Fantastic day yesterday! In fact, the entire weekend was a blast! I believe we had 5 new families join us Sunday morning from the Sourwood Festival. Thanks to all of you that worked so hard to make this year another HUGE success! Your willingness to selflessly serve is unbelievable - especially in the fiery temperatures of this weekend! I never cease to be amazed at how awesomely blessed I am to serve you as your pastor.
As for Sunday services - didn't the new band rock? I never tire of seeing the various expressions of talent and giftedness God has placed in our faith family. Sunday was also another weekend where several people stepped across the line and met Jesus. That totally rocks my world! That's why we exist! I'm so fired up about what God is going to do this fall at Mountain View that I can hardly sit still. Folks, put your seatbelt on. I think God is going to use this family of faith in a HUGE way to usher in the next great move of the Holy Spirit. What we're experiencing now is a "warm-up" to get us ready.
Again, thanks for all you did this weekend. Let's look forward to what lies ahead for those who trust our Savior.
