What an amazing Sunday at Mountain View! I never cease to be amazed at what God is doing up on the hill.
- Worship was awesome. Sorry we ran out of communion! We had so many folks today that it blew our team away!
- Yes I did say that if I was Jesus I probably would have given the Pharisees a bad case of the hemorrhoids!
- Great to see all the people interested in joining MVC at the Starting Point luncheon yesterday. There was great excitment in that room!
- I'm looking forward to what is getting ready to happen in our LifeGroups for the next six weeks. Hold on to your hats!!!!!!! This could be a totally life-changing encounter!!!!!!!
- Next Sunday is baptism Sunday. If you haven't yet signed up, call the church office or Foster.
- We had our last meeting last night with the team heading to Nicaragua on Sept 7. Looks like we're really close to having all the funds we need to build the school in Trohilo!!!!! I am so pumped about this!!!!!!!
- Start thinking now about who you'll invite to come to MVC with you next week!!!!!! We still have room in the 9:30 service.
- On a sad note: In the midst of all our excitment yesterday, it was truly a blow to lose my buddy Paul Moore. Paul apparently suffered a massive heart attack that killed him instantly. We will all miss him terribly but we can also rejoice that he is in heaven! What a great man!
- Please keep Donette and the kids in your prayers.
- What an awesome sight yesterday though, in the midst of the grief, I was overwhelmed at the number of you that showed up at the hospital to comfort the family and then turned up at their house last evening. You guys rock! I love you all.
