Kingdom Footprint

There has been a bunch of talk lately about our carbon footprint - the impact our lives have on the environment. There are numerous initiatives to reduce the amount of plastic, paper and styrofoam we use. We're encouraged not to take cross-country flights and to ride a bike instead of driving whenever possible. All these are efforts aimed at reducing the amount of polution and the carbon footprint we leave on our planet. I was thinking today about another kind of footprint. What footprint or impact are we having for the kingdom of God? What are we doing to advance the gospel and introduce the world to the amazing grace of Christ? We can be "eco-minded" about our planet, but one day this mudball is going to burn up. It simply will not last forever. However, the kingdom of God is eternal. So how are you increasing your kingdom footprint? I believe too many of us are so focused on earthly things that we give little thought to the kingdom of heaven - only that one day we'll die and go there. But there's more to life than that! God has called us to be in this world but not of this world. To be salt and light in the darkness. And to become all things to all peoples so that by all possible means some might be saved. So, what kind of kingdom footprint are you making?
